Once MFA is set up, the user will have the option to set up phone sign-in from inside the app in order to have a passwordless experience using their mobile device. Have the user register for MFA using the Microsoft Authenticator app. Once the user is configured to be able to use the Microsoft Authenticator app, they can be further refined to be able to use it with Push, Passwordless, or Any (the default) type of authentication method available in the app by clicking the … next to their row.
